Other Sites
Camp materials, a CTF platform, and course sites I have built.
A few other things I have put online. The summer camp materials are open to anyone. The last two require a login, for reasons explained below.
Summer camp materials
These are the sites I built for our summer coding camps at SOU. They are free, public, and self-paced, so you can work through them on your own whether or not you attended. They assume no prior programming experience.
Python Coding Camp
A week of Python for beginners. Starts with the basics, then moves through web scraping, data visualization, and a two-day game project. Includes the datasets used during the camp, so the exercises work at home.
Web Coding Camp
A week of web development. HTML, CSS, page layout, and JavaScript, building toward a site you publish yourself on the last day. Campers pick a theme on day one and build their own version of the project through the week.
CTF platform
A capture the flag platform I am building, where each player gets their own isolated virtual machines running intentionally vulnerable containers to attack. See Getting Started in Cybersecurity if you want to know what a CTF is before trying one.
Work in progress, and access is limited This is under active development, so expect rough edges. Access currently requires an SOU email address.
If you do not have an SOU email and would like access, email me at pouliotd@sou.edu and I will see what I can do.
Course site
Course materials for the classes I teach. This one requires an SOU login and is not open to the public.
